Harmon Hinges
The Harmon Hinge is a unique application that allows a door to swing clear of an opening and fold back into a recessed wall pocket. Harmon hinge is recognized as a pocketed pivot hinge. The door surface in the open position rests flush alongside adjacent walls, no part of the hinge projects past the face of the door for a smooth, clean look. Our hinge is made of solid brass and contains special needle bearings that permit the door to move smoothly without wear. Harmon Hinge allows an architect, millworker, or designer to create a clean pocketed opening in his millwork plan. When the door is in the open position, it is contained in a pocketed section of the millwork, creating a concealed panel. In both the open and closed positions, no hinge 'barrel' projects further than the face of the door. A traditional and concealed version of Harmon Hinges is available but for a minimalistic look with all the advantages of Harmon Hinges, consider the concealed version.
